Preparing for Artexpo once again

Artexpo New York is less than a week a way, and once again I will be showing my art there. If you are attending the show, please drop by booth 1108 in the Solo Artist Pavillion and say hi. This will be my second year at Artexpo — last year was such a success, I decided I had to go back! I want to build on what I started, keep up the momentum, and hopefully, move my art career even farther forward.

Some of my artwork, packaged up and ready to go.

When I signed up last year, it was a bit of a leap of faith. I had never done a show like this before, and this was going to be a huge commitment in time and money. But the risk paid off. I received a wonderful response to my artwork, made a number of new important business relationships, and even made a few sales. But the best thing about the show was what it helped me prove to myself. Standing in front of my art for eight hours a day, meeting countless people, watching their reactions, explaining what I do — this showed me that there is a strong, passionate audience for my art. And it proved to me that I knew how to reach them.

Right now I am in the final stages of getting ready. The art is made and waiting to be driven across the river to Manhattan. The brochures, postcards, business cards and signs are all ready to go. My sales methods and tools are honed and polished. I just have a few more tasks to do before I set up my booth on Wednesday. Wish me luck, and I hope to see you there!
