an interview, times two
I had the honor this month to be interviewed by two excellent arts websites. First, I was interviewed by Positive Focus, a Brooklyn-based center for emerging photoartists. That same week I was selected to be the Featured Artist on Area of Design, a showcase for emerging artists. It was fascinating to be asked so many questions so quickly about my art and my influences.
As a farewell to summer, I wanted to share this bloom from the past season. My three-year old son brought this flower home to give to my wife. Alas, the flower is actually a weed, often used to prevent erosion, and considered by some an invasive species. Weed or not, it was still a sweet gesture!
