Conjure – an abstract of a leaf

Leaves are my favorite subject to photograph. They seem simple at first — straightforward with no surprises. But when you take the time, you begin to see that they are full of unexpected complexity and subtle character. They look so much alike, yet each has its own personality, individual and unique. After more than ten years of creating art from leaves, I continue to be surprised.
