Though, I suppose it&#039;s the same across mediums.  

I&#039;m often lukewarm after seeing a show.  But, that being said, have you entered?  Or are you still just watching from the sidelines?  Go ahead and enter.

Several years ago, I entered a juried competition that my painting professor suggested entering.  I included 2 figurative portraits that I loved and just on a whim, I entered a floral watercolor sketch.  Guess which one was published??  The floral watercolor sketch.  My professor didn&#039;t get selected either.  You just never know what the jurors are looking for and if you&#039;re chosen the publicity isn&#039;t bad either.</description>
