Whenever I talk to someone about my art, one of the first questions I get asked is if they can see my most recent work. Sure, I love to show it! But since not everyone can drop by the studio for a visit, I’m creating a seasonal newsletter to showcase the new photography I create. “But Dan,” you ask, “can’t they just subscribe to your blog to find out what you’ve been working on?” True, they could. But I can’t expect that everyone wants to read my random posts on sun storms or the perfect shade of brown. Some want just the facts. So for them, I am creating a special newsletter category for my blog, and will be using FeedBurner to let people subscribe directly to it via email. This way, those who just want an occasional update from me can subscribe to the newsletter, while those who want a little more (my loyal readers) can subscribe to the full blog.

But before I can set up that subscription system, Feedburner requires that there actually be some content here. Thus, this post. I now return you to your regularly scheduled program, already in progress.

Correction 2008-05-09: I decided to send out my newsletter the old fashioned way, via email. Click here to subscribe.
