A couple days ago, I was picking up my son from camp. As we walked back to the car, I pointed out to him all of these little leaves that littered the sidewalk. My son stopped, picked one up, and handed it to me.
What can I say, the kid’s got a good eye. It’s a tiny leaf, no bigger than my thumbnail. But when it dried, it formed this wonderful tight curl that wound around itself several times. This is why I love to bring him with me on my leaf hunts. It’s so much fun to be able to share my art with him.
